We are so pleased to welcome you to a Night Out at the Horne, and greet the popular wife and husband duo, Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman. They have long established themselves as one of the UK Folk scene’s most rewarding enduring partnerships, spanning 25 years of making music together.
To celebrate and acknowledge this milestone, the couple revisit and reinterpret songs which span their career .This Dartmoor based couple have twice won the coveted “Best Duo” at the BBCRadio2 Folk awards (2016.2013) consistently delivering assured distinctive performances, mixing traditional arrangements with their self- penned material. Their greatly varied material cover such subjects as wicked mermaids, Norwegian Legends, and a lonely whale!
