Music for Summertime with the Shrewesbury Concert Band

At the Silvester Horne Institute, Church Stretton

We are delighted to see Shrewsbury Concert Band here for a special concert for the summer and as a prelude to the Bank holiday week and the Queen’s Jubilee.

Conductor Ken Lumley says that the Band are looking forward to playing in Church Stretton again and will be offering a programme of ‘mostly British Music to celebrate the Queens Jubilee’ which will include music by Holst, Vaughan-Williams , Walton and Lloyd- Webber.

So please come and enjoy the music, as 35 musicians play you into the following Holiday week.
