“Interesting Times” The Strettons 1914-1918
“Interesting Times” is a special Strettons commemoration of the centenary of the Church Stretton Branch of the Royal British Legion.
This production is a work of performance using extracts from local history sources, poetry by Wilfred Owen and A. E. Housman, and songs from the period of the Great War. The script has been prepared and edited by Hazel Whitehouse.
Presented by Stretton Players in conjunction with The Friends of Church Stretton Library and Church Stretton Area Local History Group
Proceeds from this performance will be divided equally between Friends of Church Stretton Library and our local branch of the Royal British Legion.
